Analysis Service Connection creates a new semantic model

I am currently using Analysis Services Connection to connect to live connection to a Power BI Semantic Model.

When publishing the report with live connection to semantic model using Analysis services connection it creates a new model and I am getting error in the report

As you can see below it creates a new model. Previously it connects direcly to the Sementic model without having a new model created in between.

This issue has been raised already to Microsoft and until now no resolution. Their support engineers still trying to figure out what is going on until now.

This is your own semantic model. It hosts your report, and it connects to a SSAS data source. When you publish this to the workspace/app, the Power BI service now needs the help of an enterprise gateway to get to your on-prem SSAS source. So you need to have a gateway, it must have a connection definition, and the gateway connection user must have DISCOVER permissions on the SSAS source.
