Hello Helper.
I've been stuck in this problem from many days. While importing my visual from file it gives me this error.
I also get some console error when uploading visual
I developed package of size around 4.5 MB.
I've read one article about this issue where one suggested to compress package manually to reduce size, but doing that doesn't fixed issue. I've also tried to remove assets file but that didn't worked as well.
please help me on this.
Thanks
Hi, @Anujshaan
Sorry for i am not familiar with the custom visual development.Based on my research, here's one high quality response that can help effectively narrow down and explain the root cause of your issue currently met when importing the custom visual:
Visuals have their domain removed by the main window so that they are sandboxed. One of the effects of this is that if you're attending to load data from an external URL and this site does not allow requests from an empty domain, they are blocked by your browser. This is a common use case for creators in the HTML Content visual, you can refer to this documentation:
CORS & Other Known Limitations | HTML Content - Custom Visual for Power BI (html-content.com)
This is the source community reply, please also kindly check if it can help you :
