An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Could not load file or assembly

I was working on Power BI Desktop and it goes well and then suddenly I got this error when I tried to refresh the data:

An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Could not load file or assembly 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe, Version=4.0.4.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)'

I also got the same error when I tried to get/transform the data in power query. It still working well in Power BI Service though. The source are from PostgreSQL database. does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @DewiLaily ,

It seems to be caused by the security of the system, please try to run it as administrator.

Hope it helps!
