Alteryx Power BI Output Connector
Hi all,
Since I find Alteryx much better than Power BI's ELT tool, Power Query, in terms of performance, I configured the Power BI Output Connector on Alteryx (following this guide: https://help.alteryx.com/current/designer/microsoft-power-bi-output-tool).
The connector is using RestAPI to push data from Alteryx to Power BI, but it has some limitations (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/automation/api-rest-api-limitations).
Moreover, I'm experiencing that the connector is very unstable. It works with "Live Connection" and it seems like it breaks quite often, leaving me without the option to open the report again.
Does anyone of you have experience with the Alteryx Power BI Output Connector and how to set it up in the best possible way?
If not, do you have any suggestions on how I can keep using Alteryx as an ETL tool in combination to Power BI as a viz tool without going through an Excel export?
