Allow workspace owners to refresh data
I've created a shared workspace and added several users. They are listed as workspace members with Admin permissions in the Power BI service, and as group members with Owner permissions in Office 365 Groups for that workspace. It seems like this should allow them to have full acces to the datasets in the workspace, but when they try to manually refresh data, they get an error message that reads "Can't refresh your data" and "The credentials you provided for the data source are invalid." How to set them up so they can refresh the datasets manually?

Hi naomim,
Basically, to get the data refresh to work, we need t omake sure three parts are well configured:
1. Gateway,
2. Data Source credentials
3. Schedule refresh
For more details about how to configure, please check:

- GilbertQSuper UserI would suggest when you set up the Data Source in the Data Gateway, you would need to add them into the Users List for each Data Source that is linked to your datasets in your App Workspace.
After that I am certain that they should be able to refresh the data.- naomimFrequent Visitor
The data source credentials are for Visual Studio Team Services, so the Gateway connection states "you don't need a gateway for this dataset, because all of its data sources are in the cloud..." and then it doesn't allow me to select "Use a data gateway" (that option is greyed out).
Each user is already an admin in the group, is there anyway to allow for multiple users to update VSTS data?

I've the same refresh issue within Reports in workspace connecting to Project online via ODATA.
Have you found a solution to let everybody manually refresh datasets without manually inseriting own credential?
thanks
