Hi experts,
I've set up several alarts in the dashboard. All the thresholds are above 0. One of the alerts was triggered the first time when it reach to 2. But after the dataset refreshed, also after the frequency i set, the number is still 2 and did not trigger the alert.
Can I ask why? It supposed to trigger the alert since it above the threshold I set.
Thanks

Hi @zhzhzzz ,
I think the reason there was no alert the second time was because the data hadn't changed.

Hi @zhzhzzz ,
This is by design. I haven't found any relevant articles that can trigger a alert after each refresh. However, I found the following article and I don't know if it can meet your needs. It requires the use of measure. And the report is stored in a Premium capacity workspace.Triggers created from Power BI will run only once per hour to check your condition, and is not triggered by you refreshing the data in the report. It depend on when you created the trigger.

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for response. But I don't get this setting. The reason why I set up this alert is to let me know the data over the threshold that requires my attention. If the alert hasn't triggered, I will assume it already meet the target I set. Sometime the reason behind the alert data is different after each refresh.
Is there a way to change the setting or other method to let the alert triggered after each refresh even the data hasn't changed?
Thanks.
