After Date Slicer not allowing selection of end date

Up until recently, we have been able to select the end date of an After Date Slicer. Today the button to open the date picker is disabled. We switched to a Between slicer, but it does not automatically set the end date to today. Has anyone else run into this issue lately? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

What if the end user moves the end date? It does not appear to go back to the current date on refresh.

If end user has changed the end date, they can click on default button to go back to original state.

Also, enable this from options and settings:

Haven't run into any issue as such but to automatically set the slicer end date to latest date after refresh in a between date slicer, please clear the selections in slicer, set only the start date, save and publish. 

This will make the start date to remain constant while end date will dynamically pick-up latest refreshed date.
