Admin Monitoring Feature Usage and Adoption contains column that cannot be found
Hi all,
I was using the Feature Usage and Adoption dashboard in the Admin Monitoring workspace when the following error occurred:
Expression.Error: The column 'Url' of the table wasn't found. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
As a result, the dashboard remains empty, and I am unable to refresh the underlying semantic model. Despite being the Admin, I cannot make changes to the semantic model.
Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this issue?
Thank you.
Hi all,
After waiting for a few days, and after multiple refreshes, the error was gone. The column 'Url' is also not empty anymore.
I have no idea what was the cause, but maybe I was just too impatient, haha.
Thank you.

Hi Wesley0107 If you dont use that column someone with edit acces could remove that and everything should work as normal or either by restoring the url column in the source

Hi Wesley0107,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
The semantic models in the workspace are automatically refreshed once per day, around the same time that the workspace was installed for the first time, they cannot be manually refreshed.
Please try to reinitialize the workspace by following this reference article: What is the admin monitoring workspace? - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Deleting the semantic model using the API effectively forces the system to recreate it upon the next workspace access, which is useful when data refreshes fail due to issues like missing columns, permission errors, or broken connections. Additionally, if an admin loses access to the workspace or cannot make necessary modifications, reinitializing restores the default setup. This process also helps resolve data and refresh errors, such as reports failing to load or showing missing columns like "Url," by addressing schema inconsistencies and ensuring the workspace functions correctly.
