Adding additional Tables/Data sets to existing report online

    I believe you will have to create a new report based upon the way the original report was defined doesn't allow for other connections.

Hi ShaunBizSol ,

 

To achieve your requirement, please follow steps below:

1. Connect to PBI service in PBI desktop, click Get Data->Power BI service->Select report.

2. Connect to another data source in PBI desktop, edit your report then publish to service and replace the old report and dataset.

v-yuta-msft Thanks for your suggestion. I can see we connect to the data set itself, however it doesnt show the reports. Only the data set. Once connected, I the "Get Data" is greyed out also. Any other suggestions?
