Add users to RLS - "Security" doesn't take me where it used to

I am trying to add a user to an existing role on a report.  Previously, I would click the (...) next to the dataset, go to Security, and then add the role.

Now, when I click security it tells me I need to download PBI Desktop,

"RLS has moved to Power BI Desktop

Any previously defined RLS security is no longer working. You will need to re-create RLS in Power BI Desktop.
In the Power BI Service, you can add members to roles you create"

Where did adding users to a role go?    It is a Premium workspace, and I am an admin.

Thanks.

Hey @Speshul ,

the message indicates that the dataset does not contain any role.

You have to define the roles inside Power BI Desktop, publish the dataset to the workspace. Finally, you add users to the roles by following the context menu "Security" of the dataset.

Hopefully, this provides some insights that will help to tackle your challenge.

Regards,

Tom
