Add the name of the semantic model on RLS Setting page

It will be very helpful to add the name of the Semantic Model to the RLS setting page in the service. It will help to know which model you are setting. There is currently no way to see which model you are busy setting.

On this page, I update user access. I have an Excel document that I am tracking user access on, and sometimes switching between screens or applications can leave me confused as to which semantic model I am updating. It would be great to display the workspace and the semantic model that is being updated.

This is where I would like to see the name of the semantic model I am updating Security to. It would be even better to see the workspace and the semantic model name.

    Hi Emile_Diedrick ,
Thanks for reaching out to Community Forum.

The RLS settings page in Microsoft Fabric does not display the semantic model name by design, and this is not a configuration issue. As documented by Microsoft, Row-Level Security must be accessed directly from the specific semantic model within its workspace. To ensure you are modifying the correct model, check to the appropriate workspace, locate the semantic model, select and choose Security. The RLS page that opens applies only to the selected semantic model. Therefore, confirming the model name in the workspace before opening the Security option is the supported and documented approach. Any request to display the model name on the RLS page would require submitting a feature enhancement through the Microsoft Fabric Ideas forum.
