Actual VS. Targeted Benchmarks
Hey folks, New to BI have a question.
We need to build a dashboard that allows us to track actual production vs benchmarks. Broken down by weekly, monthly for each employee.
Expectations vary per employee and department.
Can anyone explain how we create the table that would allow this to happen?

From your description, you may need a calendar table, an employee information table, a table describing production information, then create relationships using the date table with the employee information table linked to the production information table, and finally create metrics, calculated columns or calculated tables as needed and use them on visual objects.
There are some sample reports of various industries in the learn center of the service, you can choose the right report to download to your desktop for research.
