Action (Web URL) functionality in Image visual not working if the url contains "mailto:" tag!!

Hi,
I have some icons (Image Visual) placed in my Power BI dashboard, each icon has set "Action" property on and type is "Web URL" and provided proper URL. All Icons working fine except on which has a "mailto:" tag in url. I given below a sample URL below.
mailto:Shinoj%20Panniyookil%20%3cs.panniyookil@gmail.com%3e



If I apply same URL for a Text Box control it works! I think it's a bug in image visual, if anybody experienced same or a better solution other than using text box, then let me know.

What I have seen in the past is that some visuals support certain things, as with your example it appears that the visual you are using does not support what you are trying to do.

Thank you for the reply! The visual I'm using is "Image" and it has the feature of setting "Action" with type "Web URL" and if you set any url, it will work perfectly. But it not working when the url is a "mailto:" html tag string. If a feature is not available then that is understood, but here feature is available for the "image" visual.

As far as I know the mailto: is not currently supported
