Uninstalled publisher and installed an older version I managed to find in downloads and she is now able to connect.
We'll see what Microsoft has to say.

Solution SpecialistMicrosoft responded and said it's a known issue that they're working on. They advise using the older version of Publisher, which fortunately we have.
So much for keeping our software updated. :smileyfrustrated:
