Access PowerBI Dataset from External Organization

    So I went down this path just a few months ago. Not sure anything has changed. Basically, was able to share out the dataset in my customer tenant with my external account. Yay! But, in Power BI Desktop, trying to connect Live to the dataset, it would only show me the datasets in my own tenant and not the customer tenant. Talked with Microsoft support. Yep, that's currently a limitation. OK. Customer created an id in their tenant for me. Problem "solved"?? Grr... 🙂

Hi Greg,

Thank you for your suggestion. This option might not work with the client due to their IT security restrictions.

Do you have any other suggestions 😊
