About data lineage

How can the data lineage view quickly show where the data in a specific table located in the Data Lakehouse originates from and what data flow processes it has gone through?

  • Hi WithwindOK I didnt get the question really but here is what Lineage in Power BI/Fabric view does and shows , origin of data in a table and its transformations by displaying upstream sources (raw files, dataflows) and connected processes (ETL pipelines). Select the table in the Lineage View to trace its data flow, including transformations and dependencies. Use metadata details for auditing, impact analysis, and debugging.

  • Hi WithwindOK ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

You can utilize the Lineage View in Microsoft Fabric to efficiently identify the data origin in a specific table within the Lakehouse and monitor its transformations.
