Ability to view what other users/developers have published

Hi,

We have developers creating dashboards and reports and publishing to the Power BI Service.  From a security perspective, there is certain data they have access to that we don't want pushed to the PBI Service.

 

Is it possible to view what a user/developer has pushed to the PBI Service?

 

I am an Admin in our Power BI tenant and our Office 365 tenant.  Unless the user/developer shares their dashboard/report, not sure how to know what was published.

    You means create a report and dashbords in Power BI desktop, then publish it to Power BI service? If it is, all dataset and report will be pushed to PBI service. If you don't want to other people view all the data, you can define roles and rules within Power BI Desktop. When you publish to Power BI, it will also publish the role definitions. In Power BI service, select the dataset->Security, take you to the RLS page for you to add members to a role you created in Power BI Desktop. Only the owners of the dataset will see Security available. And the members only can see the data they have acccess. More details, please see: Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI.

    When you share a dashboad or report to others, if row-level security (RLS) is applied to the dataset underlying a dashboard, then the credentials of every person are used to determine which data they can access.
