APP URL link with filter

Hi all,

I have a Power BI report in an app and I need to be able to share this report with individuals via a URL link which is easy enough but I also need to provide links with the pace/slicer filters already applied in various ways.

I tested this when the report was in my workspace by clicking on share and checking the include my changes box but when I tried to do the same in the app, it only provided me with a copy link option and did not include my changes option was not there.

Does anyone know why this is, perhaps a setting within the workspace or report I need to amend?
