AAS and SharePoint data error: DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError

Hi!

I have PBI report connected to both Azure Analysis Services and an Excel file in SharePoint, where I've created a table consisting of one column from a table from the AAS source and one column from the Excel file in SharePoint.

Everything works just fine with the dataset update in Power BI Desktop, but when I publish it to Power BI Service, I can neither do a manual data set refresh nor set up a schedule refresh. I get the following error message: DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError.

After a bit of googling, I realize that there must be something wrong with my data gateway. Right now I'm using a personal gateway. I've tried to restart the gateway, and also set the privacy level to Organizational on the SharePoint sourche when setting the data credentials.

Do you have any ideas on what I should try next to solve my problem? 🙂

/Ella

UPDATE: The solution was easier than I thought - I just had to set the privacy level to "Organizational" for all data sources in PBI Service 🙂
