1 million limitation of Power BI (DirectQuery or General)

I have two questions:

• Does PowerBI have a limitation of loading 1M rows?
• Does PowerBI DirectQuery have a limitation of loading 1M rows?

If PowerBI in general does not have a limitation but DirectQuery has a limitation, what are the architectural implications for building reports?

HI @Anonymous ,

#1, 1 million row records limitation only existed on directquery mode.

#2, In fact, directquery mode is direct send query to your database when you interact with visual records. I think this limitation may be related to performance reasons to load data and summary records.

Use DirectQuery in Power BI Desktop
