Hey I have a report with a published dataset and 2 reports based on this dataset, one (parent) has the dataset built with it, the second (child) is using the same dataset. the child report is missing data, when i copy and paste the visuals from the child to the parent all the data shows as expected. is this a limitation or a setting that I am missing. image below of both in the desktop app, same results in the web published reprts as well.
I noticed this morning that the published parent was now having the same issue, removed all the reports and datasets and republished everything from the desktop app and now all is good. I made some changes to the underlying data yesterday, seems maybe something got corrupted or didnt update properly with the changes i made.
yes
the right is the child, but the same slicer is on both. I did try removing and readding and it still did not work.
Hi @Andyhollen
If the right report is the child one it looks you are applying a date slicer, cancel that one and check again.
Did it work ? 👌 Mark it as a solution to help spreading knowledge 👉 A kudos would be appreciated
no, I thought i had it fixed by removing the reports and data sources from the powerbi site and republishing, but that is still not working. seems it is not syncing my data properly from OneDrive folders containing CSV files.
