Solved: timeline slicer not filtering on report server sep...

Hello,

We are using the marketplace timeline slicer 2.1.1 on reports. It works fine on PowerBI desktop but when deployed on report server it won't filter.

We are using Sept 2019 PBIRS release.

Any known issue? Any workaround?

There was an issue with 3rd party slicers in the initial download version for the Sep 2019 release. Microsoft fixed this and updated the download, but there was no official announcement of this. Goto http(s)://<server>/ReportServer and check the version at the bottom of the page and see if it's earlier than 15.0.1102.646 (which is the current download version from http://aka.ms/pbireportserver)

If your version is older then re-downloading the installer and updating your server should fix this.
