publishing multiple dashboards in one workspace to an app

Hi There - I have multiple dashboards in a workspace;  I publish -- and all dashboards are in one app.  Users look for the dashboards by name & only see the app with the name of one of the dashboards.

Should I unselect all but one dashboard then publish the dashboards one at a time?  I tried that & the unselected dashboards disappeared from the app location.

We're beginning users - so the dashboards get revised frequently.  Will the sharing break if I publish the new improved versions of the dashboards?  

Thanks for any help!  My users are getting frustrated when I tell them I've shared then they can't find the dashboard in the app place.
