Good afternoon. I have encountered such a problem that updating reports on a schedule causes such an error, despite the fact that manually clicking on the update, it turns out without problems.
The data is taken from the PostgeSQL server with the help of conection to data gateway On-premises data getaway because i need VPN to have access to data. please tell me what the problem may be and how to fix it?
The error message you are seeing in your Power BI report indicates that there is an issue with the on-premises data gateway that is used to connect to your PostgreSQL server. There are a few things that you can check and try to resolve this issue:
Ensure that the on-premises data gateway is running: Check that the gateway is up and running by navigating to the "Data Gateways" section in the Power BI Service, and verifying that the status of the gateway is "Running".
Check the connection settings: Ensure that the connection settings for the PostgreSQL data source in the on-premises data gateway are correct, including the server name, database name, and credentials.
Verify that the gateway is configured to allow scheduled refresh: Check that the on-premises data gateway is configured to allow scheduled refresh for the dataset associated with your report.
Check for firewall and VPN issues: Verify that the firewall settings on your computer and network are not blocking the on-premises data gateway, and ensure that your VPN connection is stable and active.
Update the on-premises data gateway: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try updating the on-premises data gateway to the latest version.
