pbirs, October 2020, site settings / general / Apply gives "an error has occurred"

Hi,

I just upgrdaed PBIRS to October 2020.

So far everything seems to be fine except when I (as System Administrator) try to change something e.g. name, in "site settings / general" I get

"an error has occurred. Something went wrong. Please try again later."

Any ideas?

Which Logfile may give me further information about this error?

BR, Christoph

We were able to reproduce the issue seen by several people in this thread and have released a fix to the Report Server that should address it.

I am having simular issues along with other symptoms.  I am also having problems uploading pbix files and issue simular to this user: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Report-Server/Power-Bi-Server-October-2020-Update-Reports-Stays-Loa....

You can view the log files at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Report Server\PBIRS\LogFiles.  I am seeing issues with the AS process in the log files.

I have not found a solution yet.
