on-premises Gateway for a DB2 data source on a Unix box
Hello,
I have a user who created a PowerBI report connecting to a DB2 data source.
This user wants to be able to refresh the data and schedule refreshes and has asked for Power BI gateway.
The issue is that the DB2 database that used in the report is residing on a unix machine and looks like you cannot install power
bi enterprise gateway on a Unix machine.
Any idea for a solution?
Hi RanE,
You don't have to install Data Gateway on the machine which hosts data source. You can install gateway on the machine where you publish report to service.
