editar parámetros de un dashboard publicado en Report Server

Hola,

existe alguna manera de editar un parámetro de un dashboard publicado en report server?

No veo que el portal web muestre la lista de parámetros. Y tampoco he sabido ver que vía api sea posible.

Saludos,

Victor

Hi @vcarazo,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community forum.

In the case of Power BI Report Server, parameter handling is a bit more limited. Based on Microsoft’s documentation, report parameters are defined in the report itself (in Power BI Desktop or Report Builder) at design time. After publishing, the Report Server mainly allows you to supply parameter values at runtime (example, when viewing the report or configuring subscriptions), but it doesn’t provide a way to edit the parameter definitions such as name, data type, or underlying logic through the web portal or API.

The documentation also notes that not all parameters can be modified on the server, and in some cases (such as query-based defaults), they can’t be changed at all. So if you need to update a parameter’s structure or behavior, the recommended approach is to make the change in the report file and then republish it.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
