cannot launch power bi desktop even after manual install webview2 (no internet connection)

Hello,

I installed 2023 may desktop for power bi report server.

After installation is complete, when I tried to launch desktop 

it says 'An important update is pending.

webview2 could not be installed automatically. To continue using Power bi desktop, please install manually and restart the app.'

I have to use power bi desktop with no internet connection.

So I downloaded and installed the webview2 manually but it keeps showing same message.

Is there any solution for this?

I will say uninstall Power BI desktop (report server version).

Install windows updates if any pending. Latest updates of edge browser has this Webview2 installed (or 365 applications).

Restart your laptop/computer.

Reinstall: Power BI desktop (report server version).

See if it works!
