can't open or delete folder for report server

Hi,

I need Help,

I try to open PBIRS Folder from web URL but the below image message show for me

thers is Option to solve it or Delete it using Query form Database Diract ?

 

in the same time, How I can run query to show owners for above folder to re-build folder againt with the same users owners

Hi @Anonymous ,

are you Content Manager on the Report Server? Than you should be able to delete or create folder.

You can buil your own monitoring report for the report server if you like 🙂 https://insightsquest.com/2018/01/29/power-bi-report-server-monitoring/

In the Report Server DB under the Table ExecutionLog3 you finde many useful information about your Report Server.

I need to ask you

I need to run update query in reportserver.dbo.Catalog table, there is any risk to update dirctly from database using where condtion with item ID .

 

for example :

update reportserver.dbo.Catalog 

set Name ='Test'

where ItemID ='Ere3456f'
