Hi Neena,

It's not supported to change data type for data columns in SQL mobile report publisher.

Based on my test, the dataset created from query below:

<xs:schema xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" attributeFormDefault="unqualified" elementFormDefault="qualified" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

    <xs:complexType>
      <xs:sequence>
        <xs:element maxOccurs="unbounded" name="record">
          <xs:complexType>
            <xs:sequence>
              <xs:element name="Workgroup" type="xs:string" />
              <xs:element name="Salary" type="xs:integer" />
            </xs:sequence>
          </xs:complexType>
        </xs:element>
      </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
  </xs:element>
</xs:schema>
</XmlData>
</Query>

I didn't see the field 'Salary' as Integer. Did you use above query in shared dataset actually? What do you mean about "In xsd i have defined the field 'Salary' as Integer but in Mobile report publisher it is imported as Filter Field. "?
