Working with live data
how to replace a live dataset with another live data?
Note: If you have used the old data source in any calculations, you may need to update the calculations to reflect the changes in the new data source.
As for the premium version requirement, it depends on the type of data source that you are trying to replace with. Some data sources, like SharePoint or OneDrive for Business, can be replaced in Power BI Desktop with either a Free or Pro account. Other data sources, like Azure SQL Database or Power BI Dataflows, require a Power BI Premium capacity.
