Will the Power BI Report Server portal support a left menu layout like saas portal

Will the Power BI Report Server portal support a left menu layout like saas portal? Have any roadmap?

Hey there!

Power BI Report Server doesn't natively support a left-side navigation menu similar to a SaaS portal.  However, you can achieve this design by:

1.Using the Page Navigator Visual: This feature allows you to create a navigation pane within your reports. By configuring the Page Navigator to display vertically, you can simulate a left-side menu.

2. Designing Custom Navigation with Buttons and Bookmarks: By creating buttons linked to bookmarks, you can design a custom navigation experience. This approach offers flexibility in layout and design.

For more advanced navigation designs, consider using slicers or custom visuals to enhance user experience.

Hope this helps!

if the default is not enough you can consider to use ReportViewer control to embed the reports into your custom application where you can design the UX as you please.
