What do we need to have report server.

Can who share me.
1. what we need to have the report server
2. What is difference between web service and report server on powerbi app.

My company is using mysql server, what should I use to report.

    Power BI Report Server is the latest on-premises solution for publishing Power BI Reports. You can buy it or if you have SQL Server Enterprise with SA you own it. Do not confuse this with SQL Server Reporting Services which has some on-premises capabilities but is different.

     

    Current the Power BI Service supports a wide array of data connections while the Power BI Report Server only supports a few at the moment. You will not get things like Q&A currently on Power BI Report Server.

    Please review the Hardware and software requirements for installing Power BI Report Server  then follow this article to Install Power BI Report Server. 

     


    2. What is difference between web service and report server on powerbi app.

     

    Not very sure what you mean. Do you mean the Power BI mobile app have two options, one connect to Power BI, the other connect to on-premise Power BI report server/SSRS? If it is, you can go through this article: View on-premises reports and KPIs in the Power BI mobile apps.
