I'm calling the SharePoint profile API to retrieve user profile data.
A typical call look like this:
Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://<sharepoint site url>/_api/sp.userprofiles.peoplemanager/getpropertiesfor(@v)?@v='<user account name>'", [Headers=[Accept="application/json"]])))
It works perfectly fine in Power BI Desktop.
Once published, when trying to set a scheduled refresh, the following error is returned:
COM error: Microsoft.PowerBI.ReportServer.ASEngineManagedRoot, The given data source kind is not supported. Data source kind: UnknownCallsite.
Maybe it's the unusual URL caussing this problem?

Hi @Grumelo ,
What are you using? Power BI Report Server or Power BI Service?
If you are using Power BI Report Server, it is not supported to refresh SharePoint Online data. For the list of supported data sources in Power BI Report Server, please check:
Power BI report data sources in Power BI Report Server - Power BI | Microsoft Docs.
If you are using Power BI Service, it is needed to use Relative Path to refresh in Power BI Service. Try this:
Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://<sharepoint site url>/_api/",[RelativePath = "sp.userprofiles.peoplemanager/getpropertiesfor(@v)", Query = [#"@v"="'<user account name>'"], Headers=[Accept="application/json"]]))
