Using PowerBi report server as a data source in powerbi Report builder
Hi, Im trying to see if a powerbi report uploaded to a powerbi report sever can be used as a datasource in any way to create a paginated report using powerbi report builder. I only have my report published on PBRS and not on any workspaces so wanted to know if this would work.
No this is not currently possible with Report Server. The only way to share tabular models across multiple reports on-prem is to host the data models on a SQL Server Analysis Services instance.
