Hi everybody,
for 2 years now we are using a custom connector to get data from a server. This works quite well so far.
The custom connector has to be in a specific folder [mydocuments]\Power Bi Desktop\Custom Connectors.
My company will migrate the [mydocuments] folder to OneDrive and this path won't simply be available any more.
As far as i know (and the Microsoft support confirmed us) it is not possible to change the path, where PowerBi is looking for that custom connector. Google is finding a possible solution with the on-premises data gateway app but i did not succeed to get it running. Maybe the problem is me but as far as i have read it this app is for Power BI services only.
We use PowerBI Desktop RS and the reports are on a report server.
I am pretty stuck here so far, can anyone help me?
Hi @MrSnaggls ,
Sorry, so far, to my knowledge, this may not be achieveable.
Thanks for your efforts & time in advance.
Best regards,
