Update January 2020 - embedded report in iframe not working

Hi all,

after updated Report Server to January 2020 release, the embedded report in iframe does not work anynore.

We have some reports embedded in iframe with a link like this: http://reportserver/reportpath_name?rs:embed=true

After Jan 2020 update we cannot display anymore those reports due to the following error message:

Refused to display '<URL>' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.

Please help to fix the issue

This appears to be a bug in the default custom headers I believe Microsoft is working on an update to the Jan 2020 release, but in the mean time you could try the workaround suggested in this post
