Unable to use other data sources with PBI RS

In our organization we would like to use PBIRS instead of SSRS , but unfortunately we cannot use any other data sources except SSAS and Azure Cube from Power BI Desktop.

can any one give us some tentative date when this features would be enabled , so that we can create power bi dashboard with other data sources and would be able to use them in PBI RS on prem.

Hi @vs_mande,

In Power BI report server August Preview version, we can connect to any data source in Power BI Desktop and publish your reports to Power BI Report Server. For more information, see: Support for data sources other than Analysis Services in Power BI Report Server.

I have downloaded the latest August 2017 preveiw Power BI report server , Installed and configured . But the result is the same
