Hi,
I’m creating a simple power BI report in Power BI Desktop client with the connection setting is "Import", and the data source is Vertica Database, then I can save this report in my local and then I can save the same report into Power BI Server.
But I’m create the same report with the connection setting is "DirectQuery". When I save this report into Power BI Server, it is giving the below error.
"An error occurred while attempting to save the report to Power BI Report Server"
Pls advice.
Thanks & Regards,
Kathir
Make sure you are running power bi desktop that is optmized for report server and is the same version as the report server.
