Hello team,
I am using the Fabric Trial Capacity account and I have created a Power BI dashboard using a semantic model in the Fabric workspace. I have given the view access to the other person in my organization but he does not have trial capacity but has a free trial for power BI view. Still, he is unable to view the visuals and gets the error.
I even gave him Admin rights of the workspace still, he was unable to access the dashboard.
I have attached the screenshot for the same.
Is it something like both parties should have premium accounts and then only they can view it? Not sure, just making my guess.
Looking forward to your valuable help.
Hi, @Devanshu
If your workspace is using Free Trial, your users own Power BI free trial, you won't be able to access your workspace reports.
Power BI is a component of Fabric. Power BI is also available as a standalone service. You can learn the difference between these licenses in the following two documents:
Microsoft Fabric concepts - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Types of licenses for Power BI business users - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
You can click on see detail to provide this error message, which will help me to further help you solve the problem.
Best Regards
Jianpeng Li
