I am trying to set up a drill through to a new paginated report using the Power BI Report Builder tool. But I am unable to see the "Go to Report" action for a textbox/chart or any other report item. I only find three options, unlike SSRS. I have the latest version of the Report Builder tool. Could someone please guide me if I'm missing something?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The goto report action in SSRS was just a way of building a specific type of URL action. You can achieve the same effect by deploying your target report, then configuring a Go to Url action to use the URL for that deployed report. You will probably need to use an expression to configure the Url so that you can incorporate any parameters that you want to send to the target report

That is not true. The "go to Report"-Action is much mightier than trying to configure an URL with all parameters in it. For us, it would be impossible for some goto-actions to be passed as URLs because of the amount of content in many multi-value parameters. I'd be happy if you could pass the issue to your "Power BI Report Builder"-developer team (I haven't found any resource for me to do that). For us, we need to rely on SQL Server Report Builder 2016 until the feature gets redeployed here. And I know that the feature still works, because we can open old reports with the new tool and the redirect still works on the report saved with Power BI Report Builder, as long as we don't change the goto-command.
Thanks for the guidance! Working on using the Go to URL option instead.
