My DB is Azure SQL managed Instance. I am able to connect from Power BI desktop. But when configuring the gateway cloud connection from Power BI Service. I am not able to.

Since your Azure SQL Managed Instance is in a private network, Power BI Service can't access it directly. You’ll need to use an On-premises Data Gateway or enable public access.
