I built a dashboard with a Power BI desktop RS, with a spreadsheet file within the SharePoint area in the organization. But I can't automatically schedule a refresh. The error is " An error has occurred. Something went wrong. Please try again later."

This is SharePoint online... How do I change the SharePoint online file to a SharePoint on-premises
You cannot change this at the file level. Your IT department would have to install an on-premise instance of Sharepoint (which they are not likely to do if they have setup a Sharepoint Online subscription) You would be better off publishing your report to the Power BI cloud service if you are using Sharepoint Online as a data source.
Is this Sharepoint online or Sharepoint On-premise? Note that Sharepoint Online is not supported for scheduled refresh as per Power BI report data sources in Power BI Report Server - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
