Toogle Print in Report Server

Hiii,

I am aware that the official-common way to print dashboard in powerbi : is using file tab-> print  on PBIRS webportal.

But Is it possible in powerbi report server may 2020 to do following please:

1. toogle ctrl+P (to save as pdf /print directly in printer) using query string? (so querystring would act as somekind like action in button visual inside dashboard)

2, Hide a textbox upon hitting ctrl+P ? (this textbox will act as a notification message to our user to hit ctrl+P in case they need to print dashboard)

If not, possible any other idea please?

Thanks,

dronely

Hi, @Anonymous

I'm afraid not, but the shortcut keys are built-in in the operating system, not in powerbi. The buttons in powerbi also don't trigger shortcut keys. I also find that the direct use of shortcuts built will print out the navigation bar. It is a little different.

The best method is to print according to the settings of powerbi:

Hii @v-janeyg-msft , well noted. Is there any upvote link for this feature to be implemented in near future ?
