Hi @Anonymous

The error message "The selected ORACLE data extension is not installed or cannot be loaded" typically occurs in Power BI Report Server or SSRS when trying to connect to an Oracle database, and it indicates that the required Oracle client components are either missing or improperly configured. To fix this issue, ensure that the Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET) and the appropriate Oracle Client version (32-bit or 64-bit, depending on your setup) are installed on both the client machine (for local reports) and the report server (for published reports). Verify that the Oracle client version matches the architecture of the report server process (e.g., if the server is running 64-bit, install the 64-bit Oracle client). Additionally, check the RSReportServer.config and RSPreviewPolicy.config files in the Report Server installation directory to confirm that the Oracle data extension is properly registered. Restart the Report Server service after making any changes to ensure that the system recognizes the new configurations. If the issue persists, ensure that the Oracle database connection details, including the TNSNAMES.ORA file or direct connection string, are correctly configured and accessible from the report server.

Hi,@Anonymous .I am glad to help you.
Unfortunately, due to environmental reasons, I was unable to install the database extension to reproduce your problem.
I hope my suggestions below will help you:
You can try uninstalling the relevant Oracle components first. And reinstall the corresponding version to ensure that the version of ODAC you installed matches the version of your Oracle database. (Note the version number)
I found the similar issues.
