Sxchedule Data Sources on Power BI Report Server

Hi I am trying to configure and schedule Power BI Reporting Server Data sources and my the connection type is greyed out for my SQL Server data source (no value)

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    In both import and direct query modes, the connection type used is immutable by default and depends on the credential information of the data source connected in the pbiRS desktop.

    You can try reconnecting to the sql data source in deskop and uploading to the report server, or create this shu directly in the report server.

    It should also be noted that direct query mode does not support configuration schedule refresh.

     

    If the problem is still not resolved, please point it out and provide related operation screenshoots. Looking forward to your reply.

which version of Power BI Reports Server you are using, and from which version of Power BI Desktop is report published?

Power BI Deskop Sepetember 2021

 

Not greyed out when only have one source type (FILE) . But the next issue is that when i put in window credentials (mine) it can't find the file (mapped drive) but it can within desktop.
