Straight table without aggregation in Report Builder

Where did you drag the fields when you created your report? If you just want a plain list with no aggregations or subtotals then you should drag all the fields into the "Values" area. If you add fields to the rows or columns areas the wizard is expecting to generate some sort of totals or subtotals which is why it's looking for an aggregate of some kind.
