Same Server for Report Server and Cube SSAS

Dear Community,

I will implement on prem platform for  Power BI Report Server. The Database is already on a separate server. The Data team  will create a Tabular SSAS based on that DB. My question is regarding the hosting of the new Tabular and the Report Server on the same server or not. I new that for a double hop scenario I should be using kerberos which is a little bit messy step.

That is why I need the expert point of view regarding the use or not of separated servers for both RS and Tabular.  Is it more secure to use the double hop ? is that adifference of performnace matter? 

Any help will be appreciated.

You may refer to this thread. Please go with d_gosbell's reply on the thread instead of mine as my suggestion is for smaller set ups or really long running reports.
