SQL Server standard edition- Can we user Power BI Report server?

Hi All,

we have installed SQL server standard edition. To publish/deploy our reports to Power BI Report server can we use standard edition or Enterprise edition is required?

Please suggest.

Let us know what will happen if i use Power BI report server Developer Edition for larger audience to publish the report?

Kindly give some idea.

SQL Standard is not licensed to run Power BI Report Server. You need either a Power BI Premium capacity or you need Enterprise WITH Software Assurance.

The developer edition is not licensed for publishing reports in a production scenario. It is only licensed for use in dev/test scenarios
