SQL Database Errors and Issues

Hi,

 

I am using a gateway to auto update our reports and dashboards, and have set the scheduled refresh for 6.30am and 5.30pm, which then gets published to a web link.

 

The issue I have is that the database (an SQL database) keeps freezing for our end users throughout the day, even outside of these scheduled refreshes.

 

Has anyone else come across a similar issue or does anyone have any advice on how to overcome this?
